Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale and Junior to Make Their UK Debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed
The highly anticipated Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale will make its UK public debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, marking its first public appearance outside of Italy. Alongside it, Alfa Romeo will showcase the new Junior, the brand's first fully electric car, at the festival in July.
Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale
Fresh from its victory at the Concorso di Eleganza di Villa d’Este, where it won the coveted Design Concept Award, the 33 Stradale will be on display near the Supercar Paddock. This marks its first public outing at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Inspired by the historic 1967 model, the 33 Stradale signifies Alfa Romeo's return to the world of ‘fuoriserie’ (custom-built) cars, with only 33 units set for production. Each customer collaborates with the Alfa Romeo Bottega, akin to Renaissance workshops and 1960s coachbuilders, to create a unique, customized version of the car.
Customers can choose between a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 producing over 620hp or a fully-electric powertrain delivering over 750hp for their 33 Stradale. The car will be displayed near the Supercar Paddock throughout the Festival of Speed.
Alfa Romeo Junior
The new Alfa Romeo Junior, the brand's first fully electric vehicle, will also be featured at the Festival of Speed in Electric Avenue. The Junior, sporty and compact, embodies Italian design and is available in two power outputs: 156hp with up to 250 miles of range (WLTP) or the sportier 280hp with up to 215 miles of range (WLTP). Both versions exemplify Alfa Romeo’s sporting DNA, with rapid charging capabilities that allow a 10-80% charge in less than 30 minutes using a 100kW charger.
Building on its lightweight design and optimal mass distribution, the Junior delivers best-in-class road holding. The Veloce version boasts the most direct steering in the segment (14.6), sports suspension lowered by 25mm, front and rear anti-roll bars, and a high-performance braking system with front discs over 380mm and four-piston monobloc calipers. The Torsen differential ensures superior traction in all conditions.
The Junior is available in three trim levels: Junior Elettrica and Speciale, both with the 156hp powertrain, and Veloce with the 280hp power output. Orders for the Elettrica and Speciale are now open.
In addition to the Festival of Speed, the Alfa Romeo Junior will tour the UK this summer, giving the public the opportunity to experience it firsthand. The roadshow will visit locations including Bristol, Birmingham, Leicester, and The O2 in London. For more details and the full list of locations, visit Alfa Romeo Roadshow.
