Audi Tradition is gearing up for an exciting 2025 event season, filled with notable anniversaries and remarkable displays of Audi's rich history in the automotive world. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Audi brand name's reintroduction, a pivotal moment in the company’s history. In 1965, Auto Union GmbH—Audi’s predecessor—launched the first post-World War II Audi model, powered by a four-cylinder, four-stroke engine. As part of the celebrations, Audi Tradition will be showcasing a collection of iconic models from its rich heritage, including the Audi from 1965, during International Museum Day on May 18 at the Audi museum mobile in Ingolstadt. The 2025 Audi Tradition program kicks off with the Bremen Classic Motorshow (January 31–February 2), where Audi will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Audi A2. This thrilling event will also feature Jutta Kleinschmidt, the first and only woman to win the Dakar Rally, as she drives the Audi RS Q e-tron, which triumphed in the 2024 Dakar Rally.

Audi’s Continued Legacy in Motorsport

The action continues throughout the year with several exciting events celebrating Audi’s motorsport heritage. One of the highlights is the I.C.E. concours d’elegance in St. Moritz (February 21–22), where motorsport legend Tom Kristensen will present the 1986 Audi quattro Group S on the frozen Lake St. Moritz. This special rally car, originally developed for the Group S category, was a revolutionary project with a mid-engine layout and a four-valve turbocharged engine. Although it never saw rally action, its legacy as a cutting-edge vehicle remains etched in Audi’s history.

Audi Tradition will also attend the prestigious Festival of Speed at Goodwood (July 10–13), where the first Audi victory at Le Mans will be commemorated. Motorsport legends Tom Kristensen and Rinaldo “Dindo” Capello will join the celebration, marking 25 years since Audi’s Le Mans triumph. The Goodwood Hillclimb will feature Audi's historic vehicles, including the Auto Union Type 52, driven by Hans-Joachim Stuck.

Later in the summer, Audi Tradition will participate in the Eifel Rallye Festival (July 24–26) in Daun, and various classic car rallies such as the Heidelberg Historic (July 4–5), Donau Classic (July 18–19), and Sachsen Classic (August 14–16), showcasing their vintage cars on some of Europe’s most scenic roads.

Audi Tradition will also partake in International Museum Day on May 18 and the Night of the Museums (September 13), further connecting the brand with its deep roots in automotive history.
