The 2025 Acura MDX, known for its aggressive styling, significant technology enhancements, and incredible new audio experience, is now available at Acura dealers. Starting at a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $50,900 (excluding destination and handling), the MDX—America's best-selling three-row luxury SUV—features bold new styling, a 12.3-inch touchscreen interface with Google built-in, a quieter cabin, new safety features, and two bespoke Bang & Olufsen luxury audio systems, including Acura's most powerful audio system yet.
Advanced Safety and Driver Assistance
The high-performance 2025 MDX Type S with Advance Package introduces the new AcuraWatch™ 360 system, offering advanced driver-assistive capabilities with additional front corner radars, a higher-fidelity front camera, and new front millimeter wave radar. All other MDX grades feature the standard AcuraWatch™ suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies, now enhanced with updated hardware for improved performance.
New Premium Trims
The 2025 model year welcomes the MDX A-Spec with Advance Package, blending sporty appearance with premium features such as 16-way power seats, heated outboard second-row seats, Head-Up Display (HUD), and Surround View Camera system. This trim, along with the MDX with Advance Package, includes curvilinear-quilted leather and massaging front seats, previously exclusive to the MDX Type S.
At the pinnacle of the MDX lineup, the turbocharged MDX Type S now comes standard with the previously optional Advance Package, enhancing this high-performance variant with premium features like a Head-Up Display, 16-way power front seats, soft-touch Milano leather, 9-way massaging front seats, second-row heated seats, heated steering wheel, and Surround View Camera.
Styling Enhancements
All 2025 Acura MDX models sport a new, more aggressive front fascia and open-frame Diamond Pentagon grille with a redesigned diamond pattern grille mesh. Acura's signature four JewelEye® LED headlight elements and "Chicane" LED daytime running lights frame the sleek new design.
For an even sportier look, the MDX A-Spec now offers a more aggressive front fascia shared with the MDX Type S, a frameless Diamond Pentagon grille with redesigned grille mesh, blacked-out exterior treatment, A-Spec badges, and redesigned 20-inch wheels. The MDX with Technology Package and Advance Package also feature new 20-inch wheel designs.
The more powerful MDX Type S showcases a new frameless Diamond Pentagon grille with redesigned open-surface mesh, enhancing airflow to its exclusive Type S Turbo V6 engine and redesigned Berlina Black 21-inch split-spoke wheels with a machined finish. Additional distinctive features include an exclusive rear diffuser, large quad exhaust outlets, and red Brembo® 4-piston front brake calipers.
Two exciting new paint colors are available for the first time on MDX: Canyon River Blue Metallic and Urban Gray Pearl, which debuted on the 2024 TLX.
More Standard Tech
Every 2025 Acura MDX features a new 12.3-inch touchscreen interface with Google built-in. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™ capability are also standard.
Enhancing the new touchscreen interface is a more functional center console that replaces the former touchpad, offering increased storage and improved access to the wireless charging pad.
Bang & Olufsen Luxury Audio
Acura, renowned for outstanding audio performance, has partnered with Bang & Olufsen to deliver an immersive audio experience in the 2025 MDX. The MDX with Technology Package, MDX with Advance Package, and MDX A-Spec models feature a new 19-speaker, 1,475-watt Bang & Olufsen audio system with 16 channels and Acoustic Lens Tweeters, along with four speakers in the headliner.
The 2025 MDX Type S with Advance Package introduces Acura's most impressive audio system yet: a 31-speaker, 1,760-watt Bang & Olufsen luxury audio system with 24 channels, Acoustic Lens Tweeters, and 12 speakers in the headliner. Both systems feature Bang & Olufsen's latest 3D Sound Control and the exclusive Beosonic™ feature, alongside proprietary Acoustic Lens Technology. Brushed aluminum speaker grilles laser-etched with Bang & Olufsen logos further enhance the premium interior design.
Quieter Cabin
For an even more premium experience, the 2025 Acura MDX with Technology Package, Advance Package, and MDX A-Spec models have undergone extensive updates to reduce road noise by 10%. Upgrades include enhanced front and rear fender liners, additional door insulators, and laminated glass in the rear doors to further minimize wind noise.
