Powering the Emira are two petrol engine options. The limited production First Edition models will feature the 3.5 liter V6 engine, renowned for its performance and previously seen in the Exige and Evora. Later in 2022, the Emira will also be available with new to Lotus turbocharged 2.0 liter four cylinder engine from AMG, the performance division of Mercedes-Benz.
The Emira range boasts power output between 360 and 400 bhp achieving 0 to 62mph acceleration in less than 4.5 seconds and the top speeds of up to 180 mph. The car's target weight is 1,405 kg in its lightest form, and prices start at less than £ 60,000/-.
Manufactured at Lotus' renowned facility in Hethel Norfolk, the Emira reflects over £100million of new investment in the company's UK facilities. The First Edition of the Emira, priced at £75,995, comes fully loaded with desirable technology, infotainment, and comfort features.
