The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban set to launch late next year, represent significant upgrade to the industry's best-selling large SUVs. With fresh designs and enhanced technology and more powerful diesel engine option, Chevrolet continues to set the standard in the full-size SUV segment.
The exterior of the 2025 Tahoe and Suburban boasts bold new look, featuring signature lighting, innovative lighting animations, and available 24 inch wheels. The design cues are inspired by the recently refreshed Chevrolet truck lineup, giving these SUVs a more expressive and sophisticated appearance. Two new exterior colors, Cypress Gray and Lakeshore Blue Metallic, further contribute to their fresh style.
Inside the revamped interior emphasizes a tech-focused approach, with a 17.7-inch-diagonal central touchscreen and an 11-inch-diagonal driver information center. The cabin feels airier and more spacious, with sweeping lines and a redesigned center console offering new storage options and a convenient wireless charging pad. The High Country interior receives authentic wood décor, wingtip perforated leather seating surfaces, and a unique Jet Black/Mocha color combination.
Under the hood the Tahoe and Suburban introduce a refined, second-generation 3.0L turbo-diesel Duramax engine. This engine, available later in production, offers 10 percent more horsepower than current models, providing greater confidence on the road, especially when towing. The diesel engine is complemented by 10 speed automatic transmission and is available on all retail trims.
Ride-and-handling refinements include updates to the multilink independent rear suspension design, delivering more refined dynamics. The Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and Magnetic Ride Control make a return as available features, offering automatic load-leveling, ride-height adjustment, and responsive damping for a confident driving experience.
For towing enthusiasts, the 2025 Tahoe and Suburban come equipped with Chevrolet's suite of trailering technology upgrades, ensuring a confident and safe towing experience. New features include Trailer Tire Health, Mobile Trailering App Load Rating Info, Forward Path Indication, Boat Ramp Assist, and Trailer Navigation.
In terms of safety and technology, the 2025 Suburban are expected to offer an array of features, including Interior Motion Detection, Connected Cameras, and the continuation of Chevy Safety Assist.
