Lamborghini has once again raised the bar for high-performance SUVs with the debut of the Urus SE, the brand’s first plug-in hybrid Super SUV. The new model was showcased in Mexico City at a private event held at Atrio Santa Fe, where top executives from Lamborghini, including Stephan Winkelmann (Chairman and CEO), welcomed customers, industry influencers, and car enthusiasts to witness the latest innovation in luxury performance.
The Urus SE: A New Era of Performance and Efficiency
The Lamborghini Urus SE marks a significant step in the brand’s electrification journey, combining raw power with hybrid efficiency. Featuring a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine paired with a 25-kWh lithium-ion battery, the Urus SE generates a staggering 800 CV (approximately 789 hp). This allows it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, making it even quicker than the standard Urus S (3.5 seconds). With a top speed of 312 km/h, it sets a new benchmark in the Super SUV category.
One of the standout features of the Urus SE is its plug-in hybrid system, which allows the vehicle to operate in fully electric mode for up to 60 km.
