With the introduction of the Concept EQT Marco Polo, the iconic brand reveals a fully electric micro camper van brimming with advanced features tailored for the ultimate camping experience. The Concept EQT Marco Polo: A New Era in Electric Camping
The Concept EQT Marco Polo is based on the long-wheelbase EQT variant, integrating the versatility and luxury of the T-Class with the benefits of an all-electric drive. This micro camper van includes a pop-up roof with a bed, a second folding sleeping area, and a range of innovative amenities such as a washing facility, compressor refrigerator, induction hob, and flexible gas cartridge cooker. Its design ensures maximum comfort and convenience, making it perfect for both short and extended camping trips.
One of the standout features is the solar panel on the pop-up roof, which, combined with an additional removable battery, allows for energy self-sufficiency. The interior, designed with high-quality materials like Artico Microcut and Avola cherry wood, provides a stylish and functional living space, complete with ambient lighting and ample storage.
Practicality Meets Innovation
Mercedes-Benz has ensured that the Concept EQT Marco Polo is not just a camping marvel but also a practical everyday vehicle. The EQT model also boasts an efficient electric motor with a peak output of 90 kW and a maximum torque of 245 Newton metres, powered by a lithium-ion battery with a usable capacity of 45 kWh. Charging is convenient and fast, thanks to the 80 kW DC charger, which can recharge the battery from 10-80% in just 38 minutes.
Expanding the Marco Polo Family
The introduction of the Marco Polo Module adds another layer of flexibility. This module, compatible with the short-wheelbase EQT, includes a bed unit and an optional kitchen unit, providing basic camping amenities in a compact form. The bed offers a comfortable sleeping area with a point-elastic disc spring system and a thick mattress, while the kitchen unit features a sink, water tank, refrigerator, and gas cooker. These elements can be easily installed and removed, enhancing the van's adaptability.
A Sustainable Future
Mercedes-Benz Vans' strategy emphasizes electric mobility across all its model series, aligning with its "Ambition 2039" goal of CO?-neutral production and operation.
