Polestar has unveiled exciting design updates and customization options for the 2025 model year of the Polestar 2. Launched in Europe and Canada today, other markets will see these enhancements later in 2024, bringing refreshed aesthetics and increased versatility to this popular electric vehicle.
New Exterior Colors and Wheels
The 2025 Polestar 2 introduces two new exterior colors. Vapour, a contemporary light metallic inspired by modern city architecture, replaces the previous standard color, Magnesium. Storm, a dark aluminum shade first seen on the Polestar 4, replaces Thunder in the Polestar 2 palette. The exterior design updates also include a new 19-inch Aero alloy wheel with aero inserts and a new 20-inch Pro graphite alloy wheel, available with the Pro Pack.
Interior Upgrades
Inside, the Polestar 2 gains high-quality, animal welfare-secured Charcoal Nappa leather upholstery from Bridge of Weir. Additionally, customers who opt for the Pro Pack will notice a stylish new seatbelt design, featuring a black base with a Swedish Gold stripe running the entire length.
Enhanced Customization Options
For the 2025 model year, the Polestar 2 pack structure aligns with the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4, offering more single options for increased personalization. The Climate Pack includes a heat pump, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated washer fluid nozzles. The Pro Pack includes 20-inch alloy wheels and Swedish Gold detailing on the seatbelt and tire valve caps. The Pilot Pack, Plus Pack, and Performance Packs complete the pack structure, each adding unique features and enhancements.
Improved Range
All versions of the Polestar 2 now offer an improved range, with the Long range Single Motor version achieving up to 659 km (WLTP). In Europe, the Standard range Single Motor variant receives an upgraded 70 kWh CATL battery, increasing its range to up to 554 km (WLTP).
Since deliveries began in 2020, more than 160,000 Polestar 2 units have been delivered across 27 markets worldwide, cementing its status as an award-winning electric fastback.
