Porsche Extends its Reach: New Subsidiary in Poland Set to Enhance Brand Experience
Porsche, a brand synonymous with luxury and performance, is expanding its presence in Central Europe by founding a subsidiary in Poland. Porsche Polska sp. z o.o will officially begin operations on January 1, 2025, marking a significant shift from the current sales activities managed under the Volkswagen Group Polska. The move aims to cater more precisely to the needs of Porsche customers in Poland, with Wojciech Grzegorski (43) appointed as CEO.
Poland's rapid growth presents a promising market for Porsche. "Poland is a burgeoning country. We see further growth potential for Porsche here, and with our own subsidiary, we can respond to the requirements of our customers in a more targeted way. Our goal is to strengthen our brand experience and thus further boost the attractiveness of Porsche," said Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG.
The company's operations will transition from the Volkswagen Group Polska's headquarters in Pozna? to a new location in Warsaw. "Porsche already has a strong customer and fan base in Poland," noted Wojciech Grzegorski, the new CEO of Porsche Polska. "In the new constellation, we aim to create an even stronger presence for the brand. At the same time, we will continue to use synergies in our collaboration with the Volkswagen Group, for example in the logistics area. By moving to Warsaw, we are also strengthening our position as an attractive employer."
Currently, there are nine Porsche Centres in Poland, owned by independent investors and dealer groups. The past year saw a remarkable 41 percent increase in deliveries, underscoring the brand's growing popularity. Porsche's expansion strategy includes extending the dealer network and introducing new sales formats to further enhance its market presence.
