With its spontaneous and superior power delivery, the ID.3 GTX Performance is set to redefine electric driving dynamics. The vehicle features an enhanced version of the Volkswagen Performance drive system, with output increased from 210 kW (ID.3 GTX) to 240 kW. The electric drive motor produces a maximum torque of 545 Nm, exceeding the drive power of Volkswagen's most powerful V6 turbocharged engines. The ID.3 GTX Performance accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 200 km/h.
Battery and Charging
The ID.3 GTX Performance is equipped with a 79 kWh lithium-ion battery (net) that can absorb up to 185 kW of power at DC quick-charging stations. Thanks to innovative charging and thermal management with battery pre-conditioning, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in about 26 minutes. The vehicle boasts a WLTP range of up to 601 km, making it a practical choice for both city driving and long-distance travel.
Advanced Chassis and Handling
The GTX-specific running gear includes stronger stabilisers and is tuned to match the drive system's high performance. The ID.3 GTX Performance features a MacPherson front axle and a five-link rear axle with a sophisticated guidance system.
