Combining expressive design, intelligent technology, and premium features, this model promises driving pleasure at an exclusive level. Derived from the sporty CLE Coupé, the Cabriolet distinguishes itself with a classic fabric acoustic soft top and additional high-end details, ensuring a character of its own. With dynamic driving characteristics and superior comfort, the CLE Cabriolet offers year-round open-air enjoyment, now available for order from sales partners in Germany and online, starting at €66,402. Market launch in Europe commences at the end of April 2024.
Equipped with the standard AIRCAP® electric wind deflector system and AIRSCARF® headroom heating system, the CLE Cabriolet ensures a comfortable open-top driving experience, even in cool outside temperatures. AIRCAP® utilizes a wind deflector on the windscreen and an automatic wind deflector behind the rear head restraints to reduce turbulence, while AIRSCARF® provides warmer airflow around the necks and throats of front-seat occupants. The fabric acoustic soft top, available in black, red, or grey, enhances thermal comfort and minimizes wind and driving noise, opening and closing within 20 seconds at speeds up to 60 km/h.
Inside, the CLE Cabriolet boasts a freestanding 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display and an 11.9-inch driver-oriented central display, complemented by optional dynamic ambient lighting for a stylish atmosphere. Optional leather seats feature a special coating to reflect the sun’s near-infrared rays, keeping them up to 12 degrees cooler in direct sunlight. Front seats, exclusively developed for the CLE, offer integral sports seat design and are equipped with two loudspeakers each, providing an immersive music experience with the optional Burmester® 3D surround sound system.
As the largest convertible in the mid-size segment, the CLE Cabriolet offers spacious comfort for four passengers, with ample legroom and luggage space. Rear passengers benefit from increased dimensions, including 72 millimetres more knee room compared to its predecessor, the C-Class Cabriolet. The boot offers a volume of 385 litres (295 litres with the top down), expandable with folding rear seat backrests.
The third generation of the MBUX infotainment system enables third-party apps such as "TikTok" and "Zoom", providing highly interactive and personalized entertainment options. MBUX offers a new level of personalization with automated convenience functions, allowing users to create custom routines for various driving scenarios.
