Yuto Horigome Visits McLaren Technology Centre: A Fusion of Speed and Style
McLaren Automotive recently welcomed Japanese professional skateboarder Yuto Horigome to its world-famous McLaren Technology Centre (MTC). As a two-time Olympic gold medallist and three-time X-Games champion, Horigome is renowned for his precision and style, making his visit to McLaren’s headquarters a natural alignment of performance and innovation.

Beyond his impressive trick over the Artura, Horigome also explored McLaren Shadow, the Esports division of McLaren, where he engaged with the simulators used for competitive digital racing. As a final touch, McLaren Special Operations presented him with a bespoke skateboard deck custom-painted in true McLaren fashion, symbolizing the seamless blend of two performance-driven worlds.
Horigome reflected on his experience, stating, “Coming to McLaren to see the supercars and drive one too was something a little different for me, and so much fun! And to skate inside a building like this, with permission to do tricks among the racing cars, was very unique.”
